David Clancy - Founder and Host

David is a successful and experienced chartered physiotherapist with clinical, consultation, pitch side and research experience in diverse settings. He has significant sports medicine practice with high-performance culture, professional athlete and non-athlete populations using evidence-based methods, accompanied by strong international research ties in industry and academia.

He has worked with Isokinetic Medical Group in Harley St., London - and in professional soccer, rugby, and private practice. He has had a research position in Royal College Surgeons Ireland and is currently a faculty member and external lecturer for Florida International University (USA). He has had chapters published in peer-reviewed sports medicine textbooks, presented at international conferences, and published opinion pieces in The Times (UK) and The Limerick Leader (Ire). David is currently developing a not-for-profit online education platform for physiotherapists and health professionals called 'The Learning Physiotherapist', using his extensive network. This will focus on the development of transferable soft skills and mentorship.

David is the founder and director of Hauora Ltd., a company based in Dublin that focuses on optimising whole person wellbeing for businesses. He is the founder and host of the podcast ‘Sleep Eat Perform Repeat’, which focuses on high performance - and the stories, learnings, and lessons in that field. He is the European Head of Medical Care and Performance Services for the Brooklyn Nets and the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. David is married and has two children.

Ciaran Dunne - co-Host

A creative and critical thinking wellbeing consultant in corporate, public and private health settings. Ciaran utilises extensive clinical experience in physiotherapy, public health and sports medicine to promote healthy evidence-based cultures and behaviour change in organisations and clients.

Ciaran has cultivated and grown his skill set over 8+ years operating in sporting, public and private health sectors. Ciaran arnessed lessons in interpersonal skills, leadership and collaboration from frontline settings in the NHS in large London trusts, in elite sports medicine settings such as Barclays Premiership team Crystal Palace academy and has spent time in the internationally recognised Isokinetic Medical Clinic Harley St. London.

Ciaran builds on insights and lessons in leadership, behaviour change to create interpersonal and intercultural communication competence; to provide and to model daily healthy living habits that promote a culture of collaboration, humility and wellbeing in organisations and in individual clients.
