#148 - George Kruis
George Kruis made 185 appearances for Saracens (won 3 European titles, and 4 Premiership trophies), had 45 caps for England (two world cups) - and toured and played with the British and Irish Lions in 2017. A second row with huge experience and pedigree, he is now playing in Japan.
He co-founded fourfive CBD with Dom Day on the basis of the experience using CBD as a recovery agent after injury, but also to help with reducing anxiety and improving sleep.
Today we speak about the difference in playing style in Japan v England - and what George brings to the team in Japan. We unpack the progression of Northern hemisphere rugby in recent months and we dive into the team culture of Saracens rugby club where George was hugely successful.
The conversation moves to why rugby players seem to prepare for life after rugby well, and why it was CBD in particular that George went into. FourFive is now partnered with teams like Sarries and Leicester Tigers, and also in many major retail outlets.
